| Carnegie USC open and women ends 4:th in Wintertrophy |
| Both the women and the guys succeded to reach the semi-finals in the Wintertrophy (competing with 32 open teams and 20 women teams). Unfortunately the competition got too hard and both teams lost both their final games and ended 4th. Although both teams are certainly pretty satisfied with their performance during the weekend in Göteborg. |

| 80% of all voters thought that cusc.se is a good spot in the web for Carnegie Ultimate Sport Club to have their homepage. 12% were not that positive and 6% hade no oppinion in the matter. Totally 63 voters. |

| CUSC Women won the Winter Trophy |
| The new dressed (blue shirts, Salming) Carnegie went all the way to win the Trophy! In the final they met the former champions Discus from Finland who played the whole weekend with only 6 players. Carnegie showed to be the strongest team, beating Discus 13-10. The first spot was an improvement from last year when Carnegie ended third after loosing the semifinals towards Stenungsund (Sweden). This year Carnegie got its revenge by beating Stenungsund in the semifinals. A disarmed Carnegie open ended 12th. |

| Carnegie open could not match the quality shown from the girls. Two games lost in the poolplay (against KFUM Örebro and Viksjöfors IF) made it impossible to reach the semifinals. A final 5th place is the worst result for the Carnegie open team since the early 1990's and the first time since 1995 CUSC open went home without any medal (2 gold, 2 silver, 3 bronze outdoors since 1996). But next year Carnegie is back there fighting for the medals! |

| GOLD TO CARNEGIE WOMEN |
| The girls made it again. It is their 13th gold medal on 14 attemps during the last 7 years. It is also their 6th consecutive Gold medal (including both indoors and outdoors Nationals). But they struggled on their way to glory. The opponents Stenungunds FC led by 10-7 when the big turnaround began. At 13-13, The Carnegie player Annika Hedström (Gurre) blocked a play from Harriet in Stenungsund and Carnegie could finally end as champions with final score 15-14. |
